Currently there is a great number of different ways that you can use potatoes in your food preparation. Even if you take only potatoes without any other elements you have plenty of recipes offered. Then you also need frying oil and salt. First you need to peel off the potatoes and then cut them in whitening strips that are someplace up to 1/2 inch wide. You know how French fries look like. now comes a nice trick. to get the starchy foods out and make fries more crispy absorb them in ice cold water for at least one hour. Then heat the oil (375 degrees) and drain the potatoes. Put the potatoes in frying basket and fry until they are golden brown. Add some salt and you are done.

A few more potato recipe tricks that might come in handy. if you want your baked potatoes to have a crunchy skin rub some butter or oil on them before you bake them. Another trick is for making crushed potatoes. If you want them to have a really vibrant flavor cook them in skimmed milk. They will taste incredible.
